After reading the required chapters, two and four, there were two concepts, among others that really stuck in my head. VISUALIZATION and INTERNAL CONSISTENCY are the concepts that apply mostly to the beginning of an exceptional speech. During the visualization process, you thoroughly think the events that will make up the speech in question. The internal consistency process, includes the ideas that are to make up you speech, to have a logical relationship/connection to one another. Each of these steps are essential to beginning and ensuring the positive and effective outcome of each speech, and as i was going through reading each chapter, I thought to myself, "Now where was this piece/ pieces of advice when i was struggling with speech before?" Although I currently openly joke and laugh about my speech anxiety, with the advice offered in this book, i doubt that i would've ever had any fear. The processes and descriptions in this book, gives you the tools to be successful with any speech topic once thoroughly and correctly applied.
